Arizona BDR Section 6 (AZBDR) – Little Colorado Outlook “Go a Little Further Out There…” Worth it. (AZBDR)
While riding Section 6 of the Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route through the Navajo Nation, we stopped at the Little Colorado River Overlook to grab a quick photo. What started as a simple break turned into one of those classic adventure riding moments when your buddy says, “Can you go a little further out there?” At that point, I was already standing on the edge of the canyon… but for the photo, you go a little farther. The result? Absolutely worth it. The Arizona BDR is packed with incredible scenery, remote riding, and unforgettable moments like this one. Between the canyon views, dirt roads, and wide-open backcountry, it’s one of the most unique adventure motorcycle routes in the Southwest.
If you’re planning to ride the Arizona BDR, researching route conditions, or simply enjoy adventure motorcycle travel, this section is well worth adding to your list. Be prepared for fabulous views and a few surprises along the way.
