The Joe Rocket Ladies Atomic 5.0 textile motorcycle jacket, just like the men's Atomic 5.0, is one of our favorite textile jackets. The ladies Atomic 5.0 jacket is greatly improved over the previous Atomic 4.0 jacket, the new cut is not as blocky as the 4.0 and gives it a nice clean Joe Rocket look. Next, the shoulders and elbows have been reinforced with the Hitena fabric for extra abrasion protection, and the neck line and cuffs on the Ladies Atomic 5.0 have been improved with neoprene so it does not irritate your skin and provides an improved wind seal. Moving to the back of the Ladies Atomic 5.0 jacket, you have the new Full Flex articulated expansion panels, just like the men's, located behind the shoulder blades, these expansion panels allow for comfort in different riding positions and improved range of motion on and off the bike. One of the other great features of the Atomic 5.0 is the Cross Linked Ventilation, I love this feature when I am riding in hot weather. The vertical chest vents not only open, but snap together creating a huge wind channel through your Atomic 5.0 jacket that vents through the zippered outlets on the back. In extremely hot weather, like 90+, the venting is excellent, and paired with a motorcycle evaporative cooling vest, you will stay comfortable from rest stop to rest stop.
